Concordia University’s Faculty of Fine Arts is unique in Canada. It offers, in a single faculty, a wide range of visual and performing arts programs across nine departments and three research institutes, a vibrant cross-disciplinary environment, and exceptional state-of-the-art facilities.
There are two campuses located in the heart of Montreal, surrounded by museums, galleries, cinemas, theatres and concert halls. In this dynamic, metropolitan setting students are encouraged to explore the farthest reaches of their creativity and critically participate in the world of fine arts.
Studio Arts is the largest department in the Faculty of Fine Arts and enjoys a longstanding reputation as one of Canada’s foremost environments for the study and creation of visual art. Under the tutelage of practicing artists, students choose from an extensive curriculum that includes ceramics, drawing, electronic arts, fibres, intermedia, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video.
I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program with a Major in Painting and Drawing.
